This site is the work of Giles Alexander. Since 2000 I’ve been working in computing and IT in Australia. This includes product work and project work, depending on where I feel I am likely to get satisfaction from. The products include high performance expert systems, computer vision and something tangentially related to printers. I could tell you what that was, but then I’d have to kill you. Project-wise I’ve worked as a contractor for a variety of Australian government departments. But never anything related to Defence.
Currently, I am enjoying being a consultant, developer and juggler with ThoughtWorks, the global IT consultancy. You may know us for agile or Martin Fowler. But hopefully you know us for technical excellence.
There are many words here, words arranged in some quite long pieces. There are also words that are a little more raw, they live somewhere else.
